Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Henry, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois-Anatolian Shepherd mix looking for a loving, active home! We rescued Henry four years ago, and he has been a loyal, affectionate companion. With a new baby and the demands of military life, we can no longer give him the exercise and attention he thrives on.
Henry is a smart, energetic dog with a mix of traits that make him perfect for an experienced, active owner. He combines the athleticism and drive of a Malinois with the loyalty and protective nature of an Anatolian Shepherd, needing both mental and physical stimulation to stay happy. He is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and enjoys being with people. He also plays well with other dogs!
Please note: Henry has a strong prey drive, so a home without cats is ideal, and he may be tempted to chase wildlife. He is also sensitive to loud noises, such as fireworks. While he has been trained with an e-collar, he would benefit from refresher lessons and consistent follow-up training.
