My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Lulubelle, but you can call me Lulu. I got my name because my foster mama said I looked like a cow when I was little. Can you believe that?

Some of my favorite activities include climbing the cat tower, racing around the house, and practicing my hunting skills on the resident cats. If I'm feeling brave, I'll even try to chase the resident dog's tail! I also enjoy playing with toys on strings and crinkle balls.

I get along really well with my foster mom’s resident cats and love taking naps with the resident dog. I'm great at keeping myself entertained as well. My mom leaves me out all day to explore the house, and I'm good at using my litter box, too.

I make friends pretty quickly, and I can't wait to meet you!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Lulubelle will need to be adopted with another BKB kitten.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
