My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sunka. She is only ten months old now and she has been with her family since 6 weeks old. Her mom Carol loves Sunka but is rehoming her. Call or text Carol at 720–486–2858 to inquire about adopting gorgeous and sweet Sunka. She is spayed and up to date on shots. All information is provided by Carol.

Sunka is a playful and boisterous lab mix who loves to play with toys in the yard. Her family cannot keep her as their older, neutered Akita is just not good with dogs. They know Sunka is going to get hurt if they slip up with their current arrangement which is to always have them separated.

When Sunka is in the house she is always in her crate while the Akita free roams. So she’s either in her crate in the house or in the yard. Sunka does very well in her crate and never messes.

When she’s in the yard she tosses her toys, does zoomies, loves life and enjoys her yard freedom and playtime. Sunka barks at cats but hasn’t been near one because she respects fencing and just makes a racket at the cats in the neighborhood. Sunka has not been around kids and Carol thinks she’d do well around older kids. Sunka doesn’t have great manners so she jumps up when she meets people.

Carol said they got in over their heads bringing Sunka home and haven’t been able to get their older dog to be okay around Sunka. Sunka has lived a small life with Carol and hasn’t had interaction with other dogs. She’s just ten months old though so probably just needs some fun positive experiences with dogs to get the hang of puppy dogging with dog buddies.

Let’s help Sunka! She deserves to be a loved and full member of a family. Call or text Carol at 720–486–2858 to inquire about adopting the beautiful sleek and shiny Sunka.
