My name is Sugar HTX!

Sugar was found running down the light rail in downtown Houston with trains coming both directions. The finder parked and shook a bag of food, and she came right to her. She let her pet her and just jumped right in the car. Poor thing was emaciated and had hardly any hair!

She has come a long way since then. She has put on weight and her coat is thick and fluffy. She is very sweet and wants to be beside you always. She doesn’t like you out of her sight. In the typical Pyr fashion, Sugar protects her property and her humans. She loves going for walks and loves to cuddle. She is very smart and learns very quickly.

Sugar is crate trained, walks well on leash, and is good with other dogs. She hasn't met any cats yet, but her calm demeanor leaves us to believe she would be fine.

Despite all she has gone through, Sugar is nothing but a lover and looking for her furever home. 💗💗💗
