More about this rescue

THIS IS AN ALL BREED & ALL-MIX RESCUE!
FROM PUREBREDS TO HEINZ 57'S; WE LOVE THEM ALL!
THE RESCUE HAS A SOFT SPOT FOR MOMS THAT ARE DUMPED. WE PULL MANY MOM'S & BABIES, MOMS TO BE, MOM'S WHOSE PUPS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER OR PUPS RESCUED LEAVING THE MOM BEHIND. WE ALSO MAKE ATTEMPTS IN REACHING HOMES THAT SURRENDER PUPS & KEEP THE MOM IN HOPES OF GETTING THEIR FEMALE DOG SPAYED AT THE RESCUES EXPENSE. WE HOPE THIS WILL HAVE SOME IMPACT WITH THE OVERPOPULATION. THE RESCUE ALSO SAVES MANY BLACK, OR MOSTLY BLACK DOGS & PUPPIES BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SADLY OVER LOOKED IN SHELTER ENVIRONMENT. THE RESCUE ALSO PULLS THOSE WITH SOCIAL OR MEDICAL ISSUES WHEN FUNDS PERMIT. THE RESCUE WILL WORK WITH ISSUES OR HAVE MEDICAL TREATMENTS DONE FOR THOSE IN NEED. AT OUR RESCUE THE HOMELESS ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE A TIME LIMIT AT FINDING A HOME; SOME ANIMALS HAVE BEEN WITH THE RESCUE FOR A YEAR OR MORE PATIENTLY AWAITING THAT SPECIAL HOME!
THE RESCUE SEE'S MANY HOMELESS PET'S IN THE MULTIPLE SHELTERS WE PULL FROM IN SURROUNDING COUNTIES. MOST OF THESE DOGS HAVE NOTHING "WRONG" WITH THEM. SOME FACILITIES HAVE SUCH A HIGH INTAKE ONLY 3 DAYS ARE GIVEN FOR THEM TO BE RECLAIMED OR ADOPTED BEFORE FACING THE FACT OF BEING EUTHANIZED, NOT LONG IS IT? THE OVER ABUNDANCE OF UNWANTED/UNCLAIMED ANIMALS HERE IN THE SOUTH IS SAD, MANY ARE DUMPED, RUNNING AT LARGE & NEVER RECLAIMED. THE RESCUE HAS HEARD MANY TIMES THE LINES "WON'T HUNT", "DON'T NEED ANYMORE", "TOO BIG", "ACCIDENTS", "CHEWING", ETC. ALL THINGS THAT ARE NOT THE ANIMALS FAULT & MOST "ISSUES" ARE WORKABLE WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT ESP PUPPIES. MANY SHELTER ANIMALS HAVE NO ISSUES BUT FIND THEM DUMPED AT SHELTERS. THE HARDEST THING FOR THE RESCUE TO DO IS TO MAKE A CHOICE & PULL THOSE THAT WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO HELP! AS A COMMUNITY WE MUST ADOPT NOT SHOP, SPAY AND NEUTER OUR ANIMALS, KEEP THEM SAFE & NOT ALLOW THEM TO ROAM FREELY!
