My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you been looking to add a slightly quirky, petite calico to your family? Then look no more for Juniper is here! This sweet girl has the cutest raspy voice, which she only uses to demand food. Juniper is incredibly food motivated and has shown some resource guarding/food aggression behavior toward other cats so will need a savvy family to help her continue to work on this. She can be a bit hesitant with new people and hisses to let you know she needs space. But once she gets comfortable, she is very affectionate and loves full body pets and even the occasional belly pat. She hasn’t yet graced her foster family with lap time, but they’re working on it!
Junie will likely do best in a quiet home without small children as fast movement can scare her. She enjoys discovering all the soft, comfie places to lounge around and LOVES a fleece catnip fish toy she was given. Dangling toys scare her a bit but she loves her Cat Dancer.
We’re pretty sure this gorgeous gal has fairy friends as she doesn’t seem to shed at all. Magic for sure!
Juniper is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and current on vaccines. If you want to give this little June Bug the loving home she deserves, please fill out an application at queencitycatsvt.org/adopt.
