Meet Indy: 6-Year-Old Golden Retriever

Indy is a fun, high-energy dog who loves playing tug-of-war and chasing balls. He’s well-trained, food-driven, and knows basic commands. However, Indy has some behavioral challenges. He’s leash reactive and can become aggressive toward other dogs, cats, and animals outside. He also resource guards food and toys and is defensive about his personal space, especially when resting or sleeping. Indy may snap if he feels insecure or is touched unexpectedly.

Indy needs an experienced, patient owner who can help him manage his reactivity and teach him boundaries. He would thrive in a calm, structured home, ideally as the only pet. An active, understanding family with dog experience would be best suited for him. With time, patience, and consistency, Indy has the potential to be a loving and loyal companion.
