My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:7/1/2024

Description:

Phoibe began her life outdoors, but it was clear that she was not thriving. Very skittish, she started out trying to hide herself under a small box in the back of a crate, believing that if she couldn't see you then you couldn't see her. Even though, due to her size, she didn't actually fit! Over time, as her confidence grew, so did her boldness and she would come out for a quick visit before disappearing back to her safe spot.
Phoibe is a beauty with the personality to match. Her sweet disposition became apparent early on as she showed herself to be affectionate and very playful. She is very communicative and her favourite interaction has become a version of soccer with her favourite toy, a jingle ball. She also loves having toys available to run after and tackle. Although still a bit hesitant, she wants attention and has great potential to be a snuggle bug. She is a wonderful, interactive companion that enjoys your presence and finds solace in it.

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
