This is 1 year old Elaine, born of this Earth but full of the sun's light and warmth. She was found out in a rural area of Missouri where a good Samaritan took her in, got her to the vet, and made sure to get her healthy before she came to us.
Miss Elaine can be a little shy in new situations but is easily won over with some gentle words and lots of cookies! We have had success with Elaine and different dogs of sizes and genders, she has done well with all. She prefers a dog that can play but also take time to chill out and sniff the grass. While she does well with other dogs she loves her people even more. She has never met a cat or kids since being in our care but her gentle and shy nature make us think she would just need a slow introduction.
While being here Elaine has excelled in her potty-training. We believe this would also transition into a home.
