My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a striking long-haired male tabby who effortlessly combines elegance with charm. His luxurious fur is a stunning array of rich browns interspersed with soft grays, accentuated by the classic bold black stripes that traverse his back and sides. With his tufted ears and expressive green eyes, Charlie has an endearing appearance that captures attention.

When can Charlie be yours?
Because kittens cannot be separated from their litter until they`re eight weeks old, Charlie can be pre-adopted at this time and go home to their family approximately on or after December 9th, 2024.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Charlie`s base adoption price is $85, with an additional refundable $50 deposit that gets you a voucher for a complimentary spay/neuter from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic. Once proof is provided that the altering surgery has occurred, you will be issued a $50 refund check.

What else comes with adopting a pet from HHS?
All animals adopted from the Huron Humane Society receive a complimentary vet visit from your choice of one of our three Alpena veterinary clinic partners, as well as the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments.
