My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm French Fry! I'm approximately five months old (as of 10/28/2024) female, Aussie/Lab mix puppy that weighs 22lbs! I am a sweet girl who loves to play. I am friendly with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages! I enjoy running and playing with friends! I am very treat motivated which has helped me with learning how to sit and stay. I am crate trained and walk well on leash with encouragement. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along!

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
