Meet Tavi, a beautiful, smart, and loving girl searching for her forever home. Tavi is fun, cheerful, and very affectionate. She’s calm at home, house-trained, and comfortable being alone when you’re out. She’s active on walks, does well on a leash, and is the perfect medium size! Tavi is good with cats and gets along with other dogs, though we feel she doesn’t need another dog at home—what she truly needs is her human.

Tavi may be a bit shy with new people and in new surroundings, but with a little time to warm up, she becomes incredibly loyal and will look at you with eyes you’ll never forget. At the shelter, she loves sitting next to volunteers or lying nearby to be petted. Tavi would thrive in a home where she feels loved and is truly part of the family.

Tavi has a bit of a sad past. She was rescued as a puppy with her siblings after being abandoned near a parking lot. She found a home quickly but, after almost 1.5 years, was returned to the shelter due to family issues, which was hard on her.
