Sweet Keena was brought to the Austin Animal Center by a Good Samaritan. She was severely emaciated, suffered from digestive issues, and exhibited a wobbly gait. Her state of health was extremely poor. Keena was transferred to APA so that our clinic could give her the care she needs. She was immediately hospitalized in the APA clinic where we determined that she needs to gain approximately 40 pounds. She weighed only 20 pounds when she came to us on 11/6/24. We treated her hookworm infestation, and now Keena's slowly on the road to recovery. Keena would benefit greatly from securing a loving foster placement. Please consider fostering lovely Keena!
