Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Orville is a great pup who loves kids, (especially babies), cats and dogs. He is doing wonderful in his foster home where he is housebroken and crate trained. He is a very quick learner. Make an appointment to meet Orville today!
Orville is five months old.
The adoption fee for puppies under 7 months old is $300. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a puppy, please complete an adoption application on our website. Puppies are in foster homes, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. www.helpingstrays.org

Go meet their pets
We welcome you to stop by our facility located at 4221 Hanover Road in Columbia, IL.
We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.
Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.
Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
