He's the biggest of his litter, with a big, “Howdy Pardner” purrsonality to match, and his name is Stetson! His playfulness is balanced by his sweetness, so it’s not surprising that he adores his somewhat shy sister, Scarlett, and is her comfort and protector. If you have time to scoop him up like a cuddlebug baby, he’ll purr extra loud because he never misses an opportunity to lasso this favorite bit of extra affection! Kicking up his heels in romps and races with his sister and brothers rounds out every happy day! He’s handsomely attired in the most iconic smooth and polished tabby stripes and has the biggest, most soulful eyes in these parts and beyond! Mealtimes are to savor, so be likes to take his time with his welcome grub. What easy-going and affectionate joy he is sure to bring to a lucky family! Could Stetson be the purrfect guy to round up the hearts in your forever home? Could Scarlett come too?

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

Our Petco adoption center is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
