Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Knox! He's the handsomest German Shepherd/Husky mix you've ever seen! He loves running, playing tug-of-war, and cuddling. He is so silly, he loves to crawl under the couch or the bed, and he loves sleeping up against the wall. Knox is house trained and knows how to sit and give you paw. He loves the dog park, he plays a bit rough but he is really social with dogs and he is a perfect gentleman with humans.
Knox has been a great dog, but he has separation anxiety that we cannot work through right now. He definitely requires a lot of attention, but he will love you so hard in return for it! He gets a bit destructive and mouthy when he is left alone, even for just a little bit. He will go in the crate, but he gets very anxious when he's in it.
I think Knox would be happier with someone who could give him more time, investment, and more space to run around. I don't have a yard and I cannot be home enough and keep him mentally stimulated enough to work through his separation anxiety.
