Despite his appearance, Cappy is not a teddy bear. He is actually a 6 year old Shih Tzu! He weighs 12.5 pounds and is completely unbothered by his missing eye! He's just a happy, playful guy. He likes other dogs and we think he would be fine with kids. He warms up very fast to new people! He's also a smart little guy, learning basic commands, responding to his name, and walking on a leash well already! He's working on things like using stairs, pottying outside (so far, so good!), and spending time in his pen along.
Cappy loves his toys, especially the ones that squeak back at home. He also doles out kisses freely and can't get enough pets, attention, and love. He's such an adaptable fella, we think he'll do well in just about any home. All he asks is that he gets lots of cuddles and affection! He likes to be touching his human at all times, and if you leave the room, he will cock his head to the side, watching your every move. Don't worry, if you go too far, he will quickly follow you! Cappy will make a great sidekick and loving companion to a very lucky adopter. Don't delay if he seems like the pup for you, submit an application!
