Meet Pumpkin! She is a 10 month old Cocker Spaniel/Miniature Poodle mix who weighs 12.5 pounds. Pumpkin came to us with a heart defect that necessitated surgical repair, but we have great news! The surgery was curative and she doesn't require follow up care!
Now that she has her heart surgery behind her, Pumpkin is enjoying life in a foster home with other dog friends as well as humans! She is cautious with children and men, but she settles in quickly! Pumpkin does very well in her puppy pen and is making good progress with potty training. She's learning how to walk on a leash and learning basic commands! Beautiful Pumpkin loves to snuggle and is happiest sitting near her humans on the couch. She follows her foster mom, wagging her tail and looking for attention. When she's not seeking out affection, she loves to explore the yard, chew on her bones and toy, and hang out with other dogs.
