My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy is a 3 month old, 6 lb Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle mix; he's a Schnoodle! We are not sure about his breed mix, but that's our best guess. It's difficult to see in his pics, but he has such unique brindle markings. Percy is a sweet, playful puppy. He loves to play with toys of all types, but especially those that he can chew. He still has his sharp little baby teeth, so durable bones and chew toys are a must. Since he is going through his puppy "mouthy" play stage, he should not go to a home with kids under the age of 6. Percy loves to run around and play hard, then settle in for a good nap. He has just started with his housetraining so he is a work in progress, but he does like to sleep in his crate.

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
