Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, It's me, Scooby Doo. I know you are staring at my "Flying Nun" ears, but they are what make me beyond adorable. In addition to my Yoda ears, I have velvet soft fur that barely sheds.
I am still a baby at 9 months old, so I really like to play with all dogs of all sizes, or just run around in a fenced in yard or park, but I also just like lounging around chewing on my bone. My Fommy (Foster Mommy) says that I am a very good boy that listens to her really good when she gives me corrections & direction. I really like my crate, and have no problem staying in it - I don't even cry or bark and I sleep in it all night long.
I am a little bit shy when I meet new people or go to new places, but I warm up really quickly if you are nice to me and give me pets and treats. I weigh 45 lbs and am just about at my maximum weight and growth as an adult. Maybe I will get to 50 lbs, but Fommy says that's about all.
Fommy says I "mesmerize" her with my light brown eyes, but I'm not sure what she means. So if you too wish to be "mesmerized" by me, please fill out an application and come out to meet me. I would really love to be with my forever family for the holidays - it would be the best if that would happen.
Hope to meet you soon.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
