My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I have lived with cats.

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

My purr motor is always running!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

Luna interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. Luna would do best in a home with no young children under the age 5.

A volunteer writes: Luna's always on the go and ready to talk with anyone. Welcoming me with a story, Luna began chirping out at me as soon as I opened the door. Trying to tell me everything at once, while also keeping an eye on Adoptions, Luna is one busy little kitty who has made progress in leaps and bounds since coming to the Care Center. The first time I met Luna, she was napping in a circle and hopped onto her cubby when she saw me approaching. Peering down at me like the cutest and most curious little Oreo cookie, I accepted that she wasn't feeling visitors at the moment. I tried again a few days and later and had a very happy Luna nuzzling into my hand and playfully reaching her paws out at me for cuddles. We don't know much about Luna's history prior to coming to the Care Center, but it's clear that with her open mind and open heart, she's ready to meet her forever family.
