My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheeks is a sweet Cavalier King Charles spaniel born approximately 1/21/19. She is a beautiful chestnut color! They just don’t come any sweeter. She kennels up nice, doesn’t make a peep.  She is a lap dog 100% and loves people. Cheeks rides nice in the car.  Easy to give meds to.  Not big on treats as she’s learning. She does not get under foot if you are working in the kitchen, instead she lays off to the side and watches or falls asleep.  She loves loves loves to run in the fenced in yard and can navigate steps with ease but she takes her time going down.  She’s cautious. Cheeks is house trained on a schedule, sleeping in her kennel at night with the door closed, she does not soil the kennel. Cheeks is NOT a barker, she rarely barks and when she does, it’s not loud. She’s a people’s dog and very affectionate. Gets along great with other dogs but seeks her people out first. She would prefer to go to a home with another dog as she truly enjoys their company. Cheeks unfortunately has been diagnosed with a heart murmur the vets cannot fix. She does require daily medication. Cheeks is extremely lovable and would love someone to care for her and love her for the rest of her life.
