Are you a foodie looking for a fellow foodie to share your passion for all things deliciously edible? If so, Louis may be the pyrfect companion for you! This young boy is as sweet as can be, and he is definitely working hard to be the best love bug you have ever met. Does he like people? You bet! From towering adults to itty bitty little ones, Louis has yet to meet anyone that he does not love. In fact, Louis has so much love to give that he adores all his four-legged friends, from his fellow canine companions, to the friendly felines! He is crate trained and walks exceptionally well on leash, so if you don’t have a fence and want to take him on daily walks, he’s game! Any height fence will do for this boy, as he requests the company of his humans when he’s outside, so you’ll always have an eye on him. This gentle boy is goofy and sweet, loves being brushed, and enjoys car rides (IF he’s doggie pals join him). He doesn’t dig, rarely barks, and doesn’t jump - he’s a very good boy! Ah yes, we almost forgot to mention that Louis is quite the foodie. Now, we don't mean that he is picky, but he definitely has his preferences. No worries, he will nicely let you know which food he prefers (and not) by picking out the ones he deemed not eat-worthy! Louis will do best in a quiet neighborhood where he will be loved and cherished - he would love to have a confident buddy to show him the ropes, but we are pawsitive he will thrive as long as he is showered with love and affection - he can be an only dog, or 1 of 8! What say you? Are you ready for a furry foodie to be your companion?

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
