My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just look at this beautiful Polydactyl tuxedo-wearing girl-- Remi. This shy girl was living in cat colony when thanks to her they were discovered after she was tailed by a rescuer leaving a Starbuck's where Remi was looking for food. She is adjusting to life indoors with people which is not easy for a former colony cat. She'll need to go home with another young playful cat so she can continue to work on feeling comfortable around people. Playing with other cats in the cat cafe where she's been living has really helped Remi feel more at ease. Her adopter will need to be patient with her but Remi is capable of love and being a good companion to the right person.Due to her still being a bit nervous Remi would not do well around kids or dogs. She loves cat friends though and is quite playful. Remi has been spayed and received her vaccinations. She is ready to go home to a nice home where she can settle in and enjoy her new family. If you are interested in learning more about i kitty or in adopting her please email her foster parent: jennifermahoney178@msn.com

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
