My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raptor, a young and spirited feline resident of our shelter. His personality is as unique as his name suggests. He's a bundle of joy, exuding sweetness and friendliness that could melt the coldest of hearts. Raptor's playful demeanor is contagious, spreading laughter and cheer wherever he goes. He loves to chase after toys, pounce on imaginary foes, and curl up for a good nap after a day of fun. His favorite pastime is simply being in the company of humans, his purrs resonating with pure contentment. Adopting Raptor isn't just about giving a pet a home, it's about welcoming a companion who will fill your life with joy, love, and endless entertainment. Raptor is ready to share his life with a family that will cherish him, and in return, he promises a lifetime of purrs, play, and priceless moments.

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
