My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Billy Goat! I was found by animal control in Riverside with quite a few injuries. Due to an injury on my tail that could not be repaired, I had to have a partial amputation. But that hasn’t stopped me, I’m so happy Smittens rescued me! During my recovery I always remained friendly and liked attention. My foster mom says that I’m a spunky, quirky little guy who literally runs like a goat (how I got my name). I’m a huge cuddler and I like other cats, but I don’t like dogs so much. I will sleep in any blanket/pillow pile made available to me and I also really like getting inside the fitted sheets on beds and scoot around underneath. I enjoy sitting on your head like a hat if you’re on the computer, but only when you’re on the computer. I can’t wait to live my best life in my forever home!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
