My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOONE`S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED

Boone arrived to the shelter terrified. Volunteers have been working with him for weeks and he is now accepting of attention and petting. He even enjoys time on your lap. He is not a fan of being scruffed. He would appreciate a quieter household with a patient adopter who will work with him to help build up his confidence. We have noticed that he can get overstimulated and would need a cat-savvy household. Perhaps he can make a good indoor/outdoor cat after proper acclimation.

**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet & greet process, please bring a hard copy of a completed adoption application found here https://animalcare.saccounty.gov/Documents/AdoptionApp_Cats.pdf and provide Animal ID numbers of the kitties you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you too!
