My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rey is a good girl found in rough shape as a stray. She has recently had a tumor removal but afterwards tests say there are remaining cancerous cells which increase likelihood of the tumor coming back. Rey is a sweet girl, dog friendly, walks on leash, and just wants to be loved. Rey will remain in our care and receive appropriate medical care for her condition unless that special someone comes along and wishes to take over her care. We are in search of a hospice foster so she can receive appropriate attention inside someones home instead of here at the shelter. She deserves the best possible outcome, we just want her as comfortable and happy as she can be.

I'm Your Huckleberry Rescue, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) non profit corporation located in Pineville, MO. Incorporated in 2017 with the goal of finding permanent homes for lost, injured, abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats in Mc Donald and Newton counties. All animals are given a health check, vaccinations, heartworm test and neutered before being placed. Currently consist of a network of foster homes.
