Annie Mae are happy, fun, spirited little girls, who make every day delightful and brighter. They have silly, playful sides, and Annie Mae plays cutely with toys. They are cuddly, and super sweet and friendly. Dana gives wonderful little kisses and enjoys belly rubs. Spending time with these girls is pure joy and truly heartwarming.

Dana is the smaller, lighter color girl. She is a Pomeranian, about 4 1/2 years old and 9 pounds. Annie Mae is a

Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix, about 3 1/2 years old and 10 pounds. They have not yet learned to walk on leashes, so their new home should have a fenced yard. They get along well with other nice, little dogs. Dana and Annie Mae have been at the rescue about 2 years, getting passed on for our

Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
