My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is a 3-4 year old gaited Appalachian mountain horse. She has a very sweet and quiet personality. She loves people and her favorite thing is back scratches!

She is easy to catch, leads well, stands tied, picks up all four feet, and is quiet to groom.

Currently Luna is working through our training program with a primary focus on ground work. She is learning to lunge and how to navigate our obstacle course.
She has made great progress in our care, but will need continued work in her new home to help her build trust around new people and new situations.

Luna does have a roach back, which means her spine is slightly curved up and is shorter than most horses, but we have not seen any discomfort or hindrance to her abilities because of it.
