Who is this handsome pup, you ask? Meet Mowgli!

Mowgli is a 2 year old, 45 lb blue Heeler. He recently found himself as a stray in Dallas and the lovely people at DAS found him. Now, he is looking for a home!

Mowgli has taken no time at all to show us how friendly and sweet he is. His favorite things include keeping us company while we work, rolling on the cold grass outside, and eating all the treats possible! He has shown to be friendly with other dogs and he so far appears to be potty trained. He is ready to learn all the other things that good boys know!

Come visit us and meet our wonderful adoptable pets! All adoptions are first come, first serve. All pets in the shelter must be adopted in person at 1818 North Westmoreland Road.

You must be 18 years-old to adopt a pet.

When picking up your new pet, please bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
