My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Dorian! I was found as a stray in Lancaster and taken in by a nice person who held onto me for a few weeks and took me to a vet and started my vaccines. I can be a little shy and would probably prefer a quieter environment without too much chaos or loud noises. But I am soooo sweet and love cuddles and being held! I can’t wait to find a place to call my home.

Please note young kittens are adopted out in pairs or to a home with another playful cat or kitten.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
