Hi my name is McCartney! I was rescued with my mom, Beatle and brothers Starr, Harrison, and Lennon. I am a very curious and busy cat! I’m usually the first of my brothers to test something out and I really enjoy playing with them so much! But also I love to hang out with people and just observe what’s going on. I am very affectionate and will give my foster mom kisses while I enjoy relaxing in her lap, begging for pets and scratches. Also, Churu’s are my favorite treat. I can’t wait to find my forever home!

Please note young kittens are adopted out in pairs or to a home with another playful cat or kitten.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
