Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lola is dog and people friendly and so fun. Lovely Lola and her silly wiggly butt will for sure make you laugh! She loves people and the way she approaches us with her little happy dance is so charming. Lola is a very pretty, sweet miss. She has young dog energy but is overall easygoing.
Her temporary foster parents report that Lola’s sweetness grew on their dogs after a few days, despite her young pup energy. A crate wasn’t necessary for her and she was a great work from home companion, as she slept the day away. She loves playing with toys, taking walks with lots of sniff breaks, and giving kisses. She has the sweetest eyes that seem to always say “pick me, choose me, love me.” Not to mention, she is all butt wiggles from the moment she sees you! When she isn’t lounging around, she would have excited spurts of energy and then curl up on the couch for a snooze. She loves to snuggle on the couch and chew on Nylabones. She’s very curious of everything you do and will eagerly come to you when you’re near. An ideal four legged companion would have a playful side to engage with her, all the while be easygoing overall. This pretty girl is sure to capture your heart.
Lola had a home, but the owner was moving and could not take her. Lola needed a quick minute to shake off the change and is now eager for a new place to get her milk bones. Lola is a VERY good girl and so agreeable. She is not a fan of cats so a feline-free home for this cutie.

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.
LOCAL FOCUS
With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our five campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
