My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Giblet is a 10-month-old Border Collie mix with a sweet and gentle nature. While he may be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up to those who show him love and patience. Like most puppies, Giblet is smart and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for training and mental stimulation. He’ll thrive in an environment where he can grow and learn new tricks, and he’ll repay you with endless affection. If you’re ready for a clever, loving puppy to join your family, come meet Giblet today!

*This pet is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today.

More about this shelter

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.

We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
