Hello there! I’m Chai a one-year-old Lynx Point Siamese, and I’m ready to find my forever home.

Although I’m a bit shy at first, there’s a sweetness to me that shines through once I trust you. My previous situation before foster care has made me cautious, but it hasn’t dampened my loving nature. I’m in search of an adopter who understands the value of patience and compassion. A quiet home would be perfect for me, as loud noises and sudden movements can be quite overwhelming. Once I settle in and get to know you, I promise to reveal my affectionate side. If you are someone who is gentle, understanding, and has a little time to invest in building our relationship, I would love to meet you!

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
