Rosie can`t wait to meet you!

This 1.5 year old shepherd mix came to FVHA as a stray, while contact was made with the owner they weren`t interested in reclaiming her.

This sweet lady is eager to please and ready to learn! She is incredibly intelligent, food motivated, and ready to be a rock star! She is ready for her second chance.

Rosie has really big feelings about food and isn`t a fan of the whole sharing thing, she would be happiest in a home without other dogs. While Rosie would do best sharing space with older, respectful children.

Rosie is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, has had flea & tick preventative, and is microchipped.

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

2.
Meet the Pet

After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

The Fox Valley Humane Association believes in caring for pets and their people. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to meet our adoptable animals.

The Fox Valley Humane Association is open to the public during the following hours. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
