My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hellooooo there! My name is Eva! I`m a super sweet, super friendly, super excitable girl! I am always SO excited to make a new friend - I`m all wiggles! I LOVE to run and play, and I think that toys are the best thing ever. I`d love an owner who can make sure I get lots of exercise and playtime and continue my training and socialization so I can be the best girl ever! Will you be my new family?

If you are interested in adding me to your family, please call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 to set up an appointment!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).

In the year 2000, the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS) was formed and continued under this leadership to the present day. Our shelter is a small, rural shelter. Every year, over 800 lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and cats get assistance from TCRAS. We do not euthanize for time or space.
