My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Brutus! I may look intimidating but my personality is the complete opposite. I am the most affectionate loving cat you may just ever meet. I love to snuggle and show you just how much I love you.. I give kisses, I rub and hug on you, and when you’re sleeping.. I make sure you are warm and comfy by cuddling as close as I can. If I want attention, I will let you know by trying to talk to you. I have always been around other cats growing up and never really got the attention I needed, so I would love a home where I am considered part of the family and be loved as much as possible. I promise I will show you the same love back! Sometimes I like to hide, but don’t worry, I am probably somewhere dark and quiet.. I just need my little cat naps! I am not one to jump on counters or scratch furniture, although I love a big comfy bed and a scratching post! New people intimidate me for just a few moments, but if they are quiet and patient I will warm up very very quickly and show my love as if I have know them forever. My ideal furever family is those who will love me just as much as I love them.

My adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
