Foster Reason: Recovering from tail amputation
Foster Time Frame: Recheck surgery site on 1/6 Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.
Foster Care Plan: Tuna has been working closely with our dedicated medical team, and they decided it would be best for Tuna`s comfort to remove her tail. She has successfully had her Surgery & is now looking for a little TLC while she is recovering. She is on daily medication to help her through this healing journey, and will be checking in with our medical team as well. She is a resilient pup, and we ask the foster to monitor her site & activity level while she heals. She will have a medical consult upon pickup and the Operation Kindness Foster Team will supply all items necessary for a successful foster journey.
Foster to Adopt Program: Tuna is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
