My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Viva is a 2-year-old black-and-white beauty with a personality as vibrant as her coat. With her striking tuxedo markings, bright eyes, and playful nature, this sweet girl is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who meets her. Viva is the perfect combination of affectionate and spirited, and she`s ready to bring her energy and love into a home where she can truly shine.

Viva may have a little bit of sass, but beneath her confident exterior lies a deeply loving cat who craves attention and companionship. She loves to follow her favorite people around, often with a little bounce in her step, as if she`s dancing to the rhythm of her own joy. Viva enjoys her playtime, especially when it involves toys that let her show off her impressive hunting skills. Whether it’s chasing feather wands, pouncing on crinkle balls, or exploring new spaces, Viva is always ready to join in the fun.

But don’t let her playful side fool you — Viva also knows how to relax and enjoy some quiet time. She loves curling up next to you for a nap or lounging in a sunny spot, soaking in the warmth. Viva has a sweet side that loves to be pampered, and she’ll often purr contentedly as you give her gentle pets and scratches behind the ears.

Viva is looking for a home where she can be both a playful companion and a snuggly friend. She’s good with other cats and would likely do well in a family environment, where she can get plenty of love and attention. With her fun-loving personality and affectionate nature, Viva will be the perfect addition to any home ready to offer her the love and care she deserves.

If you`re looking for a cat who’s as joyful as she is loving, Viva might just be the one for you. She’s ready to dance her way into your heart — will you be the one to offer her the forever home she’s been waiting for?

The Humane Society is not a department of city or county government. The city and county own the shelter building. The Humane Society receives funds from city and county governments to operate the shelter. This funding is used to pay for management/employee salaries, utility bills, cleaning supplies/chemicals, euthanasia solution, cat litter, fuel for rescue vehicles and building repairs/maintenance. Humane Society DONATIONS are used to pay for medical care of sick and injured animals, animal cages, incidental supplies such as food/water bowls, dog/cat treats, canned cat/dog food, dog/cat toys, supplies for fund raisers and education/outreach programs. Hill's Pet Products donates dog, cat, kitten and puppy food. The Humane Society's mission is to provide a clean comfortable shelter for homeless, abused, lost and impounded animals of our community; to place as many of these animals as possible in loving and responsible homes and humanely euthanize those not adopted; to investigate complaints of animal abuse/neglect; and to educate the public about responsible care of companion animals, ESPECIALLY SPAY/NEUTER!
