My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridget is a 5-year-old white and grey cat who is as sweet as she is stunning. With her soft, plush coat and calm demeanor, Bridget is the kind of cat who’ll make you feel right at home the moment you meet her. Her quiet beauty and loving personality make her a true gem, and she’s ready to share her heart with a family who will appreciate her gentle nature.

Bridget is a laid-back and affectionate cat who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. She’s not overly demanding but loves to spend time with her people, whether it’s lounging beside you on the couch, resting in a sunny spot, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment together. Bridget’s gentle nature makes her a great companion for anyone looking for a mellow, loving cat who enjoys quiet companionship.

Though she’s calm and reserved, Bridget has a playful side too. She enjoys occasional playtime with toys, especially ones that let her use her natural hunting instincts. But once she’s had her fill of fun, she’s content to curl up for a nap or just relax in your company. Bridget is happy to share her space and is perfectly comfortable both in the company of her humans and in a peaceful, quiet spot of her own.

Bridget is looking for a loving, low-key home where she can relax and feel secure. She would do well in a variety of living situations, whether it’s a quiet apartment, a family home, or a single person looking for a peaceful companion. Bridget is ready to bring a little extra love and calm into your life.

If you’re searching for a sweet, affectionate cat who will bring tranquility and love to your home, Bridget could be the perfect match. She’s ready to settle into her forever home and share her gentle heart with someone who will cherish her.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society is an independent, non-profit agency contracted by Warren County to operate the animal shelter, which we moved into in 1983. The Humane Society is not a department of city or county government. The city and county own the shelter building. The Humane Society receives funds from city and county governments to operate the shelter. This funding is used to pay for management/employee salaries, utility bills, cleaning supplies/chemicals, euthanasia solution, cat litter, fuel for rescue vehicles and building repairs/maintenance. Humane Society DONATIONS are used to pay for medical care of sick and injured animals, animal cages, incidental supplies such as food/water bowls, dog/cat treats, canned cat/dog food, dog/cat toys, supplies for fund raisers and education/outreach programs. Hill's Pet Products donates dog, cat, kitten and puppy food. The Humane Society's mission is to provide a clean comfortable shelter for homeless, abused, lost and impounded animals of our community; to place as many of these animals as possible in loving and responsible homes and humanely euthanize those not adopted; to investigate complaints of animal abuse/neglect; and to educate the public about responsible care of companion animals, ESPECIALLY SPAY/NEUTER!
