My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu is a sweet, intelligent, and loyal black Labrador retriever, believed to have turned 2 in September. This gorgeous girl was found in the woods, and although we tried to find her original family, we were unable to do so and it was clear she needed our help. She is approximately 55 pounds, spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, and ready to start her new adventure with the right family!

Lulu is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows all the basic commands and thrives with structure. With her trusted humans, Lulu becomes a wonderful protector, and she has a soft spot for women but is open to bonding with gentle, kind men as well. While she gets along with other dogs, we believe she’d thrive as an only pet or in a home with just one other dog.

Lulu loves toys—she’ll happily empty the toy box in search of her favorites, and her playful energy is simply adorable. It’s clear she was someone’s cherished pet, and she’s now ready to be yours. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly smart companion who will fill your life with joy, Lulu might just be your perfect match.
