MEET HOUDINI! Check Out His Video!

Now you see him, now you don`t! Houdini is our sleek panther boy who loves to scoot himself into hidey beds and pretend he is invisible. A former stray, Houdini is still figuring out his path with most people but he is truly a sucker for a tasty snack and that goes a long way to help earn his trust. Since he is so food-motivated, Houdini has excelled at his clicker training classes with volunteers. This super smart boy would probably do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone interested in his training (we`ll show you) so he can continue emerging from his shell of shyness. With patience, time and the appropriate living situation, this curious boy should thrive. If you`d like to meet Houdini, please come to Boston and speak with an adoption specialist. Please note: the video of Houdini with a volunteer he knows quite well shows his potential in a new home and your visit with him could likely be no-touch.

Houdini is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been neutered, microchipped, and examined by our vet team.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* A current government-issued ID (no student IDs)
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird
