My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Stella and I am a super soft, sweet lady who is looking for a loving family for my fur-ever home. I came to the Berkshire Humane Society with my sister when our previous owners could no longer care for us. In our previous home, we were not trained to walk on leash and did not have any interaction with anyone other than the humans who owned us, so we have some learning to do! That said, we`ve both been very consistently going potty outside and keeping our kennels clean! Since we have had limited socialization and we`re fearful of many things, including loud noises, walking through tight spaces, being grabbed at, and sudden movements, a home with kids ages 10+ would be ideal for us. My sister and I would prefer to go home separately, as when we live in very close quarters, we tend to argue a bit and have had a few scuffles in the past, but have been successful with play dates here at the shelter. Overall, I would benefit from a patient owner who is keen on helping me work on basic obedience skills and taking things slow.
Some of my favorite things are snuggling with my humans, going for walks outside, playing in the fenced in pens, and hanging out in the sunshine.

If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please call the kennel at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to speak with staff and learn more about how to meet me and hopefully take me home!
