My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Amy, a senior feline with a heart full of sweetness. She`s a little shy, but once you get to know her, you`ll see her friendly side. Amy shares a special bond with her feline friend, a connection so deep they are considered a bonded pair. They`re inseparable, comforting each other and providing companionship. Amy`s gentle nature and quiet demeanor make her a perfect fit for a calm household. Her love is a slow burn, but once it ignites, it`s a warm, comforting glow that never fades. Adopt Amy and her friend, and bring home a double dose of love and friendship. They`re waiting to fill your home with purrs, headbutts, and lots of love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
