My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet General, a cat who has a personality that`s as intriguing as his name. He`s an adult feline with a gentle spirit. General`s shyness might make him a bit reserved at first, but once he warms up to you, he`s the sweetest companion you could ever wish for. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like a good nap in a sunny spot or the sound of a can opening. He`s not the type to demand attention, but he will always appreciate a gentle stroke or a kind word. Adopting General means gaining a quiet friend who will share your calm moments and add a touch of sweetness to your everyday life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
