Dawna is a low-rider with a sweet and mellow personality. So far her hobbies include earning treats for doing absolutely nothing, stealing her foster dad’s seat on the couch, scouting the yard for deer snackies (poop), and rolling over for optimal belly rub action. She’s great with dogs, cats, and is likely good with kids (though this is untested). With her calm nature, Dawna would be a wonderful fit for a variety of families, especially those with more relaxed lifestyles. No marathons needed here—her tiny little legs are perfect for cozy days next to you on the couch. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome.

Submit Application

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.

We are a 501c3 non profit animal rescue out of Wisconsin. We are new , operating for almost 2 years and have saved over 250 dogs thus far! We help all over , any state that asks we do our best to help. Our motto is rescue. Rehab. Rehome. Repeat.
