My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These two bonded littermates, Riley and Piper, came from a Salem neighborhood overrun with feral cats and kittens. These two were lucky, we picked them out to socialize and save from a horrible short life living on the streets. Piper, white on chin, was a very sick kitten when we got her that took 3 rounds of antibiotics before she finally rebounded and recovered. Now they are ready for their furever home.

These love muffins purr as soon as you enter the room. Their purr is so pure and loud, you can hear them from the other side of the room. Piper is quieter, however, and more cuddly and docile. She is shy but extremely sweet and will make a great lap cat. Riley, on the other hand, is outgoing and courageous. She is the first to investigate something new. She is the life of the party and loves people. They both still have their kitten-esque, where they love to chase one another and keep each other entertained. When they both sleep with each other, you can't tell where one starts and the other ends. But be watchful when feeding, because Riley likes to steal Piper's wetfood.  They are litter box trained and will quickly be at ease in their new somewhat quiet, non-busy, home. We don't know how they are with dogs but they have been around other cats.

They both got fixed on September 18th, plus tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and both are negative for both. They received 3 doses of FVRCP (treats/prevent Distemper, Herpes, and URIs), and the Leukemia vaccine with booster and Rabies, 1 year shot. They are flea treated monthly and dewormed x 3. And finally microchipped. Adoption fee is $350 for the bonded pair and will be delivered to your home for the meet and greet and come with their complete medical records.

This pair lives with their foster family in Albany.  Indoor only.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
