Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A23484 Mr. Bojangles is a white and brindle colored, approximately 2-year-old, 43-pound, neutered male, Pitbull.
He entered the shelter as a stray on 11-07-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Mr. Bojangles is a friendly, but shy and timid boy here at the shelter. He is really scared in this shelter environment and trying to figure out what’s going on. Our staff describes him as a great dog that needs the right home to build his confidence. Saying he is loving and friendly, he just needs time to get comfortable with you. He was easy to leash but was really scared walking by all the dogs barking from their kennel at him. He froze up and had to be carried. Once outside he was well behaved. He walks better with a harness than collar leash. He is getting better and more comfortable each day here. We expect the same thing in his new forever home. We would recommend no small children due to how scared and nervous he is right not. A patient owner will fall in love with this guy. He will need some training as he doesn’t respond to any commands. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Mr. Bojangles will be a loving companion in his new forever home.
